On site, most renovations run two to four weeks from demolition to handover. Demolition is usually a day or two, then plumbing and electrical rough-in, waterproofing (which needs proper curing time, this can’t be rushed), tiling, and finally fixtures and fittings. Older Perth homes or full layout changes can push this out further.
It depends on scope. A cosmetic refresh that doesn’t touch plumbing or structure often doesn’t need one. Anything altering the layout, waste points, or structural elements generally does. We assess this for you as part of your initial consultation, so you’re never left guessing.

In Australia this is governed by AS 3740, which sets minimum coverage heights, shower walls need waterproofing up to 1800mm, for example. Poor or skipped waterproofing is the leading cause of expensive damage down the track, so it’s treated as a baseline standard on every renovation we complete, not an upsell.
It’s the Australian compliance mark confirming a plumbing product meets safety and performance standards. Installing uncertified fixtures can void your compliance certificate and cause issues if you ever sell the property, so every fixture across our packages is WaterMark certified as standard.
Yes, always. Plumbing, electrical and waterproofing work must legally be carried out by licensed tradespeople in Western Australia. You’ll receive compliance certificates for this work at handover, worth keeping for your records.
